Edin's Natural Kitchen resides at 15 Carlton Street, within the Lace Market, amongst Nottingham's vintage and charity shops.
At a glance, the cafe/ restaurant looks like a small, quaint venue, selling a array of bistro style food and drink. However, there is a lot more to this kitchen then first meets the eye.
The ground floor does, of course, act as a local whole foods cafe, selling a wide selection of cakes and pastries, as well as freshly ground coffee and even milkshakes!
But what you might not know, if you have not properly explored the place, is that there is further seating upstairs, thats gets you out of the hustle and bustle of the ground floor and into a more restaurant styled area. (See below picture). The upstairs floor has more space and more lighting which makes it the perfect place to sit down and read a book.
The Lunch menu is a fusion of Moroccan meets Whole Food deli, with dishes ranging from Butternut Squash and Sweet Potato Soup, to Goats Cheese and Roast Pepper Couscous, as well as an interesting range of homemade sandwiches.
Prices range from about £5- £10, giving you great value for money.
Also every month they offer a set 3 course meal for £20 which includes a glass of wine with each meal. The country that the wine is from, changes given the month and this month is 'Italy'. This is one of the best offers I have seen throughout the whole of Nottingham so far and would be perfect for celebrations and other special occasions.
Opening hours: Mon-Tues 7.30am-6pm
